About the Artist:

Growing up in Texas, Cathie was surrounded by her family's love for art and the natural world. Despite always feeling lacking in skill, she overcame her fear of public scrutiny and began taking lessons and showcasing her work at the age of 60. With the guidance and encouragement of wonderful teachers, her passion for drawing has evolved into a love for both representational and abstract art.
